Camp Haccamo Practicum Journal

My School Psychology Practicum will be done over the summer at Camp Haccamo--A Place Where Smiles Grow. Camp Haccamo is a overnight camp for children with special needs ranging from 7 to 28 years of age in Penfield, NY. I am a Senior Counselor here and am responsible for the saftey and direct care of groups of 10-12 campers. The camp consists of seven week-long overnight sessions. The campers can only come to one session so every week we get brand new campers. This page will be dedicated to recording my experiences with the children over the summer.
